Things I'm Into Right Now

I ripped this idea off of my local friend (who I still haven't met in person yet!!), Irregular Tammie. She kind of hates Florida so she'll probably end up moving away before we ever get around to meeting up!

Anyway, here's what I'm into right now. Feel free to rip it off and do your own version!



~* Autumn! The temperatures are actually dropping already here-it's supposed to get down to 55 tonight and 52 tomorrow night! We may actually have a real fall here in Florida this year - well at least, what passes as Fall for us. I've decorated the house completely, and we got Elayna's Halloween costume today. She's going to be a ladybug and the costume is adorable. I LOVE Halloween!



~* Diet Dr Pepper. I had an urge to try one a couple of weeks ago and now I'm obsessed. I'm always obsessed with something.



~* Softball. Elayna's softball practices started last week. She loves it and I'm not just saying this because she's mine - she's good! I really think she's a natural. She does better than some of the kids who have played before!



~* Church. Although I consider myself Spiritual, we haven't regularly attended church in a long time. But it seems that we've finally found a church that we really like and fit into. I am very particular about what I want in a church and we're really happy with this one. It looks like we're going to become members & get the family baptized. I'm excited!



~* Giveaways. I'm getting approached more for reviews & giveaways and I'm thinking of starting a separate review blog. I'd love your suggestions, opinions, advice, etc. Speaking of giveaways, don't forget to enter my bloggiversary giveaway! It ends tomorrow and I'll announce with winner October 1st. And I'll have another one starting shortly!



~* Blogging for Boobs. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. I'd already planned on joining in with A Southern Fairytale, and after losing a friend last week to this dreadful disease, I'm even more fired up for it. We must raise awareness and funds to find a cure!

Things I'm Into Right Now

I originally stole this idea from my friend, Irregular Tammie.

It's summer time and hot as hell in Florida. As the seasons change, so do the things I'm 'into'.

These are the Things I'm Into Right Now.

~~Sweet Tea...ok so I'm always into that, but especially on these hot summer days & nights.




~~~~~grilling out...hubby does the cooking and the house doesn't get all heated up. Win/win! And I LOVE food cooked on the grill.


~~Butterfly Flower body spray/lotion/wallflowers/room spray/etc. from Bath & Body Works. It smells AMAZING.


~~~~~lying on a blanket with Elayna in the backyard, looking for falling stars.

~~Free Friday Concerts, which I mentioned in this post. This weekend a reggae group will be performing. Yeah mon!

~~~~~sitting on the porch, relaxing with good drinks and good friends.

~~Twitter and my CrackBlackberry. The addictions go hand in hand.

~~~~~Spirit Jumping. This is a wonderful organization that lifts the spirits of people who are suffering with cancer or other major health problems. It's a wonderful group to be a part of!

What Things are You Into Right Now?

Things I'm into right now

I borrowed this concept from my friend Tammie, because I thought it was neat-o.
Here are some things I'm into right now:

- Cinnamon Bun coffee from Walgreens. That's right, Walgreens. The newer ones have cappucino machines. O.M.G., that cinnamon bun stuff is addictive. I had my first one on Friday and have been back about 5 times for more. Seriously.

- Thrift store shopping. J and I are becoming quite the bargain hunters. We got some amazing deals this weekend, and found some unique things that we'd have never found anywhere else. Score!

- Coupon clipping. I am the coupon queen! Well, not really, but I'm working on it. I also check sale ads and write a list of what I need from each store. I will shop at several different stores to get everything I need at the best price. J always goes with me, and we make it fun.

- Walking. We walk everywhere that we possibly can. In our new neighborhood, we are walking distance from our library, dentist, post office, bank, grocery store, dollar store, many restaurants & shops, etc. Unless it's dark or freezing, we're walking! It saves money, helps the environment, and we all get exercise. Win/win/win!

- Decorating our new home. Now that I have space to decorate, I'm having a lot of fun with it. And that also ties in with thrift store shopping!

- The Christmas spirit, and this is suprising to me. If I even get into the spirit at all, it's usually not until right before Christmas. I guess it's the overcommercialization, but for many years, I've had a hard time getting into the spirit, even though once Christmas comes, I enjoy it. But I've already done a lot of shopping and even a teeny bit of decorating this year! Crazy!
