A Trip Back in Time

My oldest son will turn seventeen this month. My oldest daughter starts high school this fall. My baby girl no longer believes in the Tooth Fairy or Santa. It's time for a trip back in time.

Awesome/Not Awesome 9.1.09

Happy Tuesday, friends! It's time for another edition of:

Awesome/Not Awesome!

Awesome: We moved into our new home this weekend, and we LOVE it!

Not Awesome: I've been so busy that I'm way behind on my blogging, and I may have to *gasp* Mark All Read in my reader. I'm sorry, and I'll try to catch up this week!

Awesome: John and I went out for lunch on Saturday with my friend Heather. She and I shared a half carafe of sangria. It was awesome and...we were feeling great!

Not Awesome: My poor husband had to guide us drunk chicks around Lowe's for house stuff. He probably felt like a babysitter! (I think he actually loved it)

Awesome: My daughter Shelbie had a Youth Group program this weekend that knocked my socks off!

Not Awesome: absolutely nothing - it was AMAZING.

Awesome: My husband started his new job yesterday! He's now working at the hospital at which I work, and we have similar hours.

Not Awesome: We both have to work and haven't hit the lottery yet!

Awesome: I love being a part of Spirit Jump and the wonderful things they do.

Not Awesome: There are way too many people who are sick and NEED Spirit Jumps. Cancer SUCKS.

Awesome: I have wonderful in-laws. I love them and they help us in many ways.

Not Awesome: They spoil Andrew horribly and are creating a monster- by their own admission. His behavior with them is terrible, and when he gets home we have to straighten him out. It's getting out of hand.
