Let's Discuss This Further....

First, I just need to apologize for my craptastic blogging lately. My posts have been poor quality, and visiting blogs has been totally hit or miss. Commenting? Almost nonexistent. I have pretty much sucked.

The only reason I've been posting at all is because I committed to doing NaBloPoMo this month, and I have not missed a day yet. I'm determined to see this one through, and I'm almost there!

As I've already whined about here, I have been sick with the horrific death plague.

This is the first day in which I have felt that maybe, possibly, I might just live.
I'm not well, but I at least think that one day, perhaps, I will be. And you can bet your sweet hiney that next year, I WILL get my flu shot.

Anyhoo. I've mentioned here before my penchant for crap TV. If it's reality and it's garbage, I'm probably watching it. I'm just laying it on the line for you here. So, if you also have this sick addiction hobby, you might like my Blog Frog Community. I've decided to start discussing the madness of these shows there.

In fact, I intended to start tonight, after the newest freakshow episode of Toddlers & Tiaras, but my internet connection crapped out on me and then I feel asleep. Woops.

But it will get going. And I'd love for you to join me when it does! Because if these shows don't provide good fodder for discussion, I don't know what does.

Character & Cooties

I've got some random stuff floating around the old brain today, so I'm going to join in with Keely The Unmom & friends for Random Thoughts Tuesday.

1. I'm going to do NaBloPoMo this month. I'm not so good at posting every single day, but when I saw that this month's theme was character, I decided to join in. I like that theme and think I can do some good posts with it.

2. The sickies are floating around the DysFUNction Junction. First it was John with a stomach bug. Then Andrew & Elayna woke up Monday morning not feeling well; Andrew had the stomach bug but Elayna had a sore throat, headache and fever. John & Andrew are feeling better but Elayna, notsomuch. Hopefully nobody else will catch the cooties.

3. One of my best childhood friends found me on Facebook. I have looked for her several times but never found her. I was SO happy to see that friend request! Her grandparents lived next door to my parents, and they were a very close family & visited a lot. It was at their house that I ran into the glass door and cut my leg up; Michelle was right there when it happened, and was my little physical therapist & nurse afterwards. I'm so excited to reconnect; this is why I LOVE Facebook!

4. Apparently I don't have as many random thoughts floating around as I thought I did.

5. Our weather has significantly improved. Yesterday the high was 76 degrees, and that's the predicted high for today too. I'm ready for Spring! I can't wait to go camping & plant a garden.

Some Random Thoughts

I'm going to jump in on NaBloPoMo and attempt to post every day of the month of February.
I have a lot of ideas swirling around and many posts in drafts that I need to complete and post, so hopefully, I'll be successful!
Also, if you have any questions you'd like for me to answer, now would be a great time to ask them! Then I'll do a Q&A post one day this month.
Elayna is going to a friend's birthday party this weekend. So today she asked if we could go shopping for her friend's gift.
An excuse to go to Target? Works for me! Somehow I ended up buying far more than just that birthday gift. I've decided I should just direct deposit my paycheck straight to Target's account!


Are you watching The Bachelor this season? I am, and as usual I think he's crazy! I'm always surprised at who they keep vs. who they let go. And I'm very intrigued by the drama that will be going on next week! I don't watch every season but when I do, it's a guilty pleasure.
