I've been seeing these {virtual} coffee posts up recently, and I wanted to join in, but I never remembered until it was too late. Because that's how I roll. But finally, as I was sitting here with writer's block, I remembered in time to join in. So I visited the blog that hosts {virtual} coffee, and fell in love. Go check out Lucky Number 13 - I bet you fall in love too.
First of all, if we were having coffee, we'd probably be at Starbucks. Because I don't make coffee at home. Second, it would probably be in the afternoon. Because I am not an early riser. I would be drinking something with lots of sugar and caramel and vanilla and yumminess. I don't really want my coffee to taste like coffee! Once we got our coffee, we could get down to chit-chat.
Tonight after the kids' soccer practice, I'm going to our Ladies' Bible Study for my church. I usually don't go; weeknights can be so hectic. But I need this; I think it will be good for me.
Did you realize that Mother's Day is THIS weekend? Because I did not. It works out well though, because the kids will be home this weekend.
I can't believe we've only been in our new home for a little over a month. It feels like forever! We really like it here. My garden is coming along nicely. We're starting to see pears popping out on the pear tree. Do you have any good pear recipes?
We have so much going on in our lives. Besides the stressful stuff....let's not even go there! My son is graduating in June. My niece is getting married later that month. And in September, my parents will celebrate their 50th anniversary! We're already throwing around ideas about that celebration. We want to surprise them.

What are your summer plans? We're hoping to spend some time at the beach & springs, camping and swimming. Maybe we'll be able to hit up an amusement park, too.
Well, all this hot coffee has made me thirsty. I need a Diet Dr Pepper!
See you next week!

We're hoping to do some camping this summer too. If we find time before the weather gets too nastily warm.
So, do yo have plans for mothers day?

You sure have lots going on in your little corner of the world! As for us...we're going on a week-long cruise to the Caribbean in June...can hardly wait!
I can't tell you about summer, because I have to get through this week without my head popping off first!
I would sit with you and drink their yummy hot chocolate with extra vanilla.
I would tell you how excited I am that our soccer season ended last week and now I have my son back. Yes, I know. He is only 6.
I would totally join ya!
this is cute. sounds like you have a lot of great stuff going on.
That was fun! I only drink coffee on the weekend when my husband makes a pot of it. However I do like the fun drinks at Starbucks too! I miss Bible study, they are always good to go to. I have a busy summer. Vegas, Europe for 3 weeks, Mammoth Lakes in August and maybe a last minute trip to Florida to visit my dad.
Sounds like you have a lot of great stuff going on.
