We had one of those uneventful but great weekends. It was our "no-kid" weekend.
We mostly did the usual routine of errands and shopping. On Saturday night, we watched scary movies and snuggled on the couch. (The Strangers - very scary & good. Wrong Turn 2 - gory & one of the worst movies I've ever seen.)
We also finally got a picture of our resident owl, who I'm pretty sure has a verrrry keen interest in my cats and small dogs!
He's pretty, but we don't trust him!
So when our dog Sasha was being naughty tonight, John said to her: "Sasha, if you don't behave, I'm going to let that owl in here and he's going to see how many licks it takes to get to the center of a SASHA!!' " and I freaking DIED laughing.
I love that man.
Hope y'all had a great weekend!

That is absolutely my kind of humor!! I would have completely cracked up too!!!!
The owl is pretty cool though!
that is precious...owl!!!!
Cool! Owls are awesome but you're right ... can't trust them around small animals at all. Neat to see!
Early morning and after dark Skye is on a leash in the yard. I just don't trust the owls & coyotes.
All I can say is I am SO jealous a weekend WITHOUT kids...I can not even begin to imagine.
"How many licks does it take?!!" Oh I love it! That's a classic for sure.
Glad you had a nice weekend!
