As I sit here coloring my hair, because the greys were totally taking over up there, I decided to share with you some random thoughts floating around my head.
They're lonely in there and wanted out.
~ Random funny of the day: It always cracks me up when someone comes at me looking for an argument, all ready to do battle, when in fact I don't disagree with the person and therefore refuse to engage. It's like a deflating balloon. I picture the person stomping around their house, slamming doors, kicking dirt, trying to vent all that needless anger they had built up. *giggle*
~ Random vent of the day: Chicks on A Baby Story and other TLC baby shows who say things like "I didn't even consider vaginal birth. Labor and contractions 'n stuff are NOT for me. Ugh. C-sections are the only way to go."
Really irritates this mama who had three C-sections and would have LOVED to have had just one of them the 'traditional' way (preferably ALL of them).
Oh and then that Chick's baby ended up in NICU for 5 days because the fluid was not naturally expelled via vaginal birth therefore he was in severe respiratory distress..........
~ Random Proud Moment: I converted a no-reply blogger last week! Now I can reply to her comments! I am ECSTATIC!!!
~ Random Facebook status of the day (from me): "Nature Walks at Home: All fun and games until a tick crawls up your neck. o.O"
One of the prices we pay for living in this beautiful isolated wilderness - ticks.
~ Random "Awww": I was super-sick on Sunday and Monday. I haven't been sick like this in over five years. I caught a stomach bug while babysitting my baby niece, Hayleigh.
When I woke up in the middle of the night and was hugging the toilet, I heard running footsteps coming my way.
It was this sweet Mama.
She rushed to my side and stayed there even as I lie on the bathroom floor, praying for the angel of death to come swiftly (hey, it had been years, I was a little dramatic).
She and this guy kept me company throughout the next two days that I spent in bed.
They are quite a pair.
I wuv them.
Have a Random Day!!

What sweet pets. That's kinda how my son is. If I'm sick he comes to my side and rubs my back.
Also, speaking of tv show teen moms did you see the Yahoo story about the mom who said her 3 year old had a unibrow and needed waxed...so she made her child look better by waxing? Ugh!
I had a nasty stomach bug back in September and the wiener dogs never left my side. I don't know how anyone gets by without pets!
I had two c-sections and would certainly NOT have preferred it that way! GAH.
Hope you get to feeling better soon. How sweet that your pets were there for you in time of illness. I love the outdoors but ticks creep me out.
Coloring your hair....uggghhh boy oh boy can I relate. I wish I could afford to color mine every 3 weeks but seriously that will probably never be in the budget. I got mine done today & I seriosly look years younger. Sigh.
Oh my gosh the whole Csection thing I am with you all the way. I had to have them with all 3 & I would have LOOOVED to have tried natural.
All of the google+ people are becoming no replys so now I have even less people... I'm losing regulars... its driving me CRAZY!
Animals are the BEST. The best. Such little darlings. :)
Do I have the no reply thing going on? I don't even know what that is or how to change it. ???
Glad you're feeling better!
We have ticks out here too. I hate the little buggers. I always try to wear some sort of hat when I walk in my woods. We pull ticks off the dogs on a regular basis. YUCK!
Good random! You already know I've been going through the sick too, I am dreading the possibility that I could get that stomach bug after my seven year old had it since I got the cold/flu thing done last week but hopefully the Lysol and hand sanitizer done some good! Hope you're all better!
Love random posts like this! .. I do not like Ticks though. Last year on Easter morning, my son came up to me and said, "there's a spider on your face!".. I, of course flipped out and tried to swat it away but it was stuck to my cheek. Ended up that it was a tick!! My husband had to pull it off!! I had no idea where I got it from either!!
Pets have the ability to make us feel loved and that they are always there for us :) Hope you feel better!
My doctor is hoping I'll be able to have a vaginal birth, but also warning me about the possibilities of c-section, to try to prepare myself.
Have you ever blogged about the c-section experiences?
What a fun post! So sorry about the flu-- there is nothing worse than throwing up. And ewe the tick! Had it attached or still just crawling on you?
And so right there with you about the stupid lady on the baby story!! I had to have all 3 c-section also, I push with my oldest for four hours. I remember leaving my 6 week check-up where I had just learned that I would not be a good candidate for a V-bac as I tore internally from pushing so long.. I did fine in the appointment but as soon as I made it to the elevator I broke down sobbing. It isn't something you should choose "just because"
The flu sucks! At least you had two cuties to keep you company. :)
You should be proud about the no-reply conversion. Yay for you!
xo
Hmmmm....I wonder who that blogger was who was a "no-reply?" Can't imagine...
Hope you're feeling better. Being sick sucks.
