I wanna talk about ME!

I am 9 posts away from my 200th post, and 11 days away from my one year blogiversary!
(I'm hoping I can make them coincide, but I'm really not that coordinated or organized....)
Anyhoo!
In honor of this momentous occasion, I'd like to invite you all to ask me questions.
I am pretty much boring an open book, so ask me anything. About my weight loss surgery, job, kids, husband, divorce, dogs, etc. Serious, funny, philosophical. Whatever you want to know, lay it on me! (just don't ask me about your kids' math homework, because I.do.not.know. Me + Math = Suck.)
I want lots of questions, people, so get busy. I'm terrible at thinking of questions to ask other bloggers, but I sure hope y'all are better at it than me!
And maybe just maybe....there will be a giveaway involved!

Oh, I'm so boring and predictable on these! I always want to know the same thing: What's your favorite book and why. I love to read, so I'll add it to my list.

Ok I'll be bold and ask a tough question. Since you lost 100lbs what happens to the skin? Does it bounce back or is it a problem for you?

Hi new to your blog as well as asking questions-let's see??? (2 questions actually)
If you could travel anywhere-where would you go and why?
What has been the favorite place you have traveled to thus far and why?

Rnadom but I love to travel-so thought others might too.

Wow!200th post! I'm fairly new so I'm a ways from there. I hope I make it like you. The question I want to ask you --- hmmm, I like self-improvement lessons so ---okay, I hope this isn't too personal: what do you consider your greatest weakeness and how is your progress in overcoming it.

Oh, I love this...it's one of my favorite things about the bloggy world. So my question is -
based on your experiences, divorce, weight loss, love, life ... what is one thing that you've learned that you feel is a piece of advice we all should know?

I'm so excited for you...200 posts and 1 year...how cool!

Hmm....ANYTHING I want???

This is tough.

Not knowing the circumstances since I'm new to your blog, so this may not be a relevant questions.

With the divorce, how did you it was time to stop trying to fix things?

Yeah....my latest experiment has me all questioned out, I'm sorry. LOL

I will try to think of something thought!

Okay, I'm nosy. Why did you get a divorce?

OK my skinny little friend...am I crazy or did you take pictures of you and the kids off of your blog. If I am thinking of someone else, please don't call the guys with the little white coats. I think my brain is going to take a vacay for the rest of the year. Does your post counter say a different # than your actual posts? I got so confused that just passed my 200th not too long ago and I didn't do anything...what a loser huh?
Hows that? Enough questions?

Hmmmm. That's always a hard one for me because I tend to shy away from asking personal questions of people.

I guess this is a good one blogger to blogger. I've seen some pretty strange posts lately - basically stuff I didn't really want to know about people and their personal lives. How do you decide where to draw the line on what to share on your blog and what not to?

200, yay, I'm coming up on 100 next week and have no idea what the protocol is. How do I make it memorable?

Here's a question for you. Are there any topics you've found that are off limits when you're blogging?

Congrats on the 200th, can't wait to see all your answers.

Wow, you do have a lot to celebrate! I had fun poking around here. What a great story! Congratulations on all your accomplishments, and thanks for stopping by The Journey for my SITS day.

If you had to live on one food only for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Which movie can you recite the most lines from?

Granny panty or thong?

Hmmm, I can't think of any questions right now, why? Because I'm thinking of how I can wake up my 11 year old WITHOUT a fight, LOL

Congrats on both of your successes tho...one year blogging and 200 posts! Oh and your weight loss too, actually that rocks!

Oh What a good idea! I have so many questions. I'll try to keep it short though and not be a hog.

1. Where do you get the dogs that you foster? Do they come from animal shelters? How did you get started doing this? I really know nothing about this topic so feel free to talk to me like I'm retarded.

2. About your weight loss: Are you worried that when you get to your goal weight(if you're not there already) that maybe you won't be happy? {I hope that question isn't too personal.} I'm just curious because as a teenager I was chubby and I kept thinking "my life will be better when I get thinner." As i grew up and got thinner, life was basically the same. Of course that was a long time ago and a teenager is a lot different than a gal in her thirties but I'd love to hear your thoughts on this.

3. What do you do to teach your kids about healthy eating and body image? Again I ask this personal question because it's something I think about often as well. I know that I eat(and want to eat) when stressed, but I know this is unhealthy and don't want to pass this behaviour onto my kids. Yet at the same time I want them to enjoy food and be happy with their bodies, no matter what they look like. It's a balance. How do you strike this balance? Has it gotten easier since the weight loss?

Okay I guess I'll stop now and let others be nosy.

If you could sell your house, all your belongings, and start over with your family somewhere else, where would it be, and what would your life look like?

Melissa said...

Congrats!

So, here's my question...

Why did you start blogging in the first place?

Unknown said...

Do you feel like your whole family has benefited from your weight loss journey? Do you feel like you will have to have further surgery to remove excess skin or has it gone back pretty well? How many dogs will your hubby allow you to keep as your own if your heart feels like they should be yours? :)

If you had the chance to go back and "redo" 1 thing from your past, would you do things differently? If so, what would it be and why?

i remember the first time i clicked my way to you & we spell our names the same, but what struck me about you was your honesty. Some blogs are blah blah blah... but your among a few that i always look forward to hear from you or read your post. You have become more confident in the last year....keep it up.

What was your breaking point before the weight loss surgery?
What was your heaviest weight?
Can you post before and after pictures?

Tinabean said...

Questions huh?
I always go blank on these....let me see though.

What is your favorite song & why?

Who is your go to person when things start to overwhelm you?

Where was your best vacation & why?

What was the breaking point that made you decide to loose the weight?

What is your favorite comfort food?

I'm sure I could think of more later but here are a few for now.
