Advice from the DysFUNctional Family

When you plan a party at a park, and the plan is to grill hot dogs on the park grills.........
take a little drive by the park before the Party Day, and make sure they haven't removed the @#$% *&$#@ grills!!!!
It's all good, though. We ate dessert first, had our party, and had fun! Then we ate our hot dogs at home. A good time was had by all.

Our sweet pirate a.k.a. Spiderman.

The Princess & the Spiderman.

9 candles on the Pirates of the Caribbean Cupcake Cake.

Silly string fun!

Eating dessert first at a bday party is always a good idea anyway. :)

Why would they have removed the grills? That's what you go to the parks for is birthday parties and grillin' dogs to feed the kiddies. What's wrong with those people, don't they know anything?

Hope the kiddies enjoyed the party and cupcake cake.

Looks like ya'll had a fun time! When life gives you lemons ~ build a lemonaide stand. I have a similar one - when you evacuate for a hurricane and you know the park has a grill... and you bring food from the freezer... make sure you bring charcoal, because you won't find it in the stores during an evacuation! Lol.

Yummy cake! New tradition: cake first, dinner later!

Oh, I love silly string, and when you've got cupcakes who needs hot dogs?

Doesn't that suck when they take those out of the park. That recently happened in our parks. My friend had to bring her entire BBQ with her. :-)
But it does look like you all had a lot of fun.

Cupcakes are way better than hot dogs, and dessert first sounds like a party to me. I love the pirate theme, I'm glad you had a good time.

They really took the grills away? At least you got to eat dessert first!!

Thanks for leaving me a comment and linking to my blog birthday giveaway! It is always fun to meet new friends around blogland!

I'm sure the kids were more than happy to dig right into the dessert! (heck - I would be)

Oh no! Absolutely terrible. It looks like you managed to salvage the party though. Love the pirate theme.

I don't know why they would bother to remove the grills. Why not leave them out all year?

It's great that you guys managed to have fun in spite of that, though-- it says a lot (of good things) about you!

Mmmmmm - dessert first! A good time HAD to be had by all :-)

No way?!?!
The upside was dessert first. What kid (and adult) doesn't love that!

Looks like it turned out fantastic anyhow :)

Oh dear, that's happenned to me before. Either that, or the grills have been so disgusting that I haven't even wanted to touch them with a pair of tongs!!

Looks as though a fun time was still had and Happy Birthday to The Pirate :-)
