Today the favorite picture I chose is.......
Why that picture, you ask?
What's that, you didn't ask? Well too bad, I'm going to tell you anyway.
That picture was taken in St. Augustine, Florida, one of the most wonderful places in the whole wide world. Not only are there beaches, shops, and lots of things to do, but somehow when we go there, my soul feels like it has come home. I swear I lived there in a past life.
And....we're going there this weekend! Just the two of us. We try to go every few months. After this past month of J working ridiculous amounts of overtime, getting everyone ready for back-to-school, etc.....we both really need this get-away. We.can't.wait!

i think we may be long lost sisters...beaches in general are my home away from home. i ove this picture...it makes me happy. i can hear the surf and feel the breeze...and now, i am sad, because i'm not there. booo.

I haven't been to St. Augustine since I was a kid! I don't know why, really. We should take the kids there soon.

It has been so long since I visited St. Augustine. My great Aunt used to live there a long time ago and we would have family reunions down there. Hope you have a wonderful time.

Everyone says St. Augustine is fabulous. We'll have to go sometime. I feel the same way about St. Petersburg... one of my favorite places to go. Gotta love our Florida beaches.

I love St. Augustine, but hate that darned fort! I remember my parents taking us there when family would come in town and UGH the boredom! LOL
I have had to do two field trips there with the boys, thank goodness my time is served;) LOL
But other than that, I love St. Augustine, hahaha
