My Love is Broken.

Today my Love got broken.

John gave this to me years ago, a sweet little token of Love.
That's what he calls me. Love.

And today, the kids were goofing around, and Elayna knocked it off of the shelf. It fell on the tile floor, and broke into pieces.

But it's hard to stay angry when the kid, while searching for glue to fix it for me,
found the glitter glue.....

...and made this for me.

(but I'm still a little sad.)

Sounds like your daughter inherited your husband's love language: Words of Affirmation. None of my boys have that love langauge - LOL (that's mine).

It sounds like something that had great meaning was replaced from something just as beautiful! Very sweet!

Aww, what a sweet apology. I have found that Gorilla Glue will fix anything.

that is sad... and sweet!! =) my stuff usually gets broken by the cat when the dog is chasing her... the areas where the cat can jump have been free of those objects for 2 plus years now! ;)

Aww, I'm sorry it got broken! It reminded me of my niece who just recently broke an ornament from my mom's christmas tree. It was a Dallas Cowboys ornament which is her team...so much so that her pug is named Romo. LOL. Anyway, the ornament broke and we all looked..my mom asks "uh oh, which one?" and she says "I'm afraid to tell you!" *laughs* My mom is not a yeller so it wasn't for fear of discipline she just felt THAT bad.

I'm so sorry. Helping me to pack away Christmas yesterday my daughter (29) broke a favorite snowglobe of mine. Water & snow all over the living room carpet. I was sad but not much can be done after the fact. It's gone and things could be worse.

I like that your husband calls you Love, that is so sweet. I do love the glitter note she made for you.
