Since we just moved here in December, we haven't seen all of the seasons here on our property.

It's fun to watch the land change and transform.
One big change is A FERN INVASION. They are everywhere.
We planted caladium and they are just beginning to sprout.
I love little elephant ears!
They were surrounded by butterflies on my walk today. Most of them flew away when I approached, but this one wasn't budging.
This bee wasn't deterred either!

Your property is beautiful. I am sure jealous. One day we will live on land without a HOA ;) This weather has been crazy.
The ferns sure are pretty but they really do take over. We didn't get very much rain here and we could sure use some more. Of course I enjoy the sunny days best! Enjoy your week, my friend!

Our neighbor had a million ferns and he conned us into planting some. He was old so we did it. They are everywhere.

Looks so peaceful! We spent all afternoon in the backyard yesterday and then grilled out last night. I am so happy that spring has finally showed up here in North Carolina! :)
