I love to hear about funny names. I have a few funny names in my circle of friends & family. My friend's dad's name is Richard (Dick) Sweat, and he named his kid Peter. My cousin, a pharmacist, married a guy whose last name is Rash. And then she named her kid Madison, which sounds a lot like Medicine. Medicine Rash. Cute!
Of course we all know the ones Bart Simpson used to create. Amanda Hugandkiss, Mike Hunt, Hugh G Rection...
I checked Snopes and the infamous Ima Hogg name is actually real. Another great one is Shanda Lear.
And I still giggle at names like Harry Beavers and Anita Hoare.
Do parents not realize that it's important to pronounce their kids' names aloud before writing them on the birth certificate?
This is crucial, people!

We used to collect funny names and celebrity names at work. We had a list of customers like Tom Cruise, David Bowie (not the real deal, but those really were their names.) and then Harry Butts, Dick Burns, and Peter Wacker were some of my favorites.
