I need to jump on my broom and get outta here.

Mommy's Idea

This week has been a little bit busy, and a little bit CRAZY. I keep saying "I need a vacation!" which is kind of funny because I'm not technically working right now, at least not outside the home. But at least it's Friday, time for the weekend and time for Fragging!

By the way, I've had a few people ask me if I'm a gamer when I use the term 'fragging'. I have no idea what that even means, but in my world, Fragging is all about Friday Fragments at Half Past Kissin' Time. Check it out!

I finally added the code to take the border off of my graphics & page dividers. Mrs 4444 will be so proud of me!

You might remember I mentioned buying the tea cups & saucers for Elayna's birthday tea party. I got 8 cups, 8 saucers, and a creamer. I found them at Goodwill; the cups & creamer were .59 cents each and the saucers were .29 cents each. The pattern is really pretty and I decided to look them up on the internet.
They are selling for $5-$10 per piece! And I have 17 pieces. I think I scored a great deal! Now I need to go see if they have any more.

Some of you will be happy to know that, after I posted the Don't Hate Me Because.... post, the temperatures have dropped and it's been storming.
Guess it serves me right for bragging!

Are you following me on my blogging Facebook page? If not, um, why not? Anyway, I posted this there last week:

Cyndy DysfunctionalMom
My kids drive me crazy but I kept having more. My pets drive me crazy but I keep acquiring more. Thank GOD it's illegal to marry more than one man!!!

Next week will involve psych visits & lawyer visits re: Andrew & his egg donor situation. I am trying very hard not to stress about these things yet. I've promised myself that I will have a relaxing weekend, and not think about all of the stressors until Monday. Let's hope that works out for me. I think a quick weekend getaway is in order.

What are y'all doing for the Superbowl? We are going to our church's second annual Superbowl party. We watch the game on the big screen and have awesome food & just hang out. It's a lot of fun. I'm making a buffalo chicken dip that I read about on one of my favorite food blogs; I'll post all about it on my food blog later.
And who are you rooting for? My husband's late father was a HUGE Packers fan, so we're going to be Packer Backers on Sunday in his honor.

I heard this song for the first time this week, although apparently it's not new. It just appeals to me for some reason. Enjoy! And have a great weekend.

I'm rooting for the Steeler's . My daddy made me a fan way back when as he is a huge fan. If they win it will be bitter sweet for our family as my dad is in stage IV cancer and dying. This may be his last superbowl. I hope they win so he can at least enjoy it. (sorry about the debbie downer comment :(

I'll be spending the evening with my boyfriend TZ as he grills wings and pizza. I might do the buffalo dipsy doodle thingymabob too! (wow, I need sleep!)

It's still hot and humid here in Fort Lauderdale. In fact, I need to turn my air on now as I'm sitting here sweating. Enjoy the rest of your evening :)

My husband has been a Packers fan forever, so I tend to lean that way, too. Not to mention I hear so much about Green Bay and the Packers from Mrs. 4444 that I feel the need to join in!

Prayers for a good week :)

YAY for the awesome find at Goodwill. Wouldn't you have just died if you found out they were like $1000 each piece. I always wanted to do that, you know, find a really great fine. Never have though. Ehhh whatever!
Not sure who I am rooting for. Proabably The Steelers because a really good friend of mine is completely obsessed with them. I'll have to check with hubby first before I start cheering, I could jinx something for him for next year... him & his stupid superstitions. :)

I didn't even realize it was the Superbowl!! We haven't had cable or even regualar TV in years, so we miss some of the good stuff that's left on television!!

Since the Colts aren't in it, I've kind of lost track of the Superbowl. But of course we'll watch. My gut says cheer for the Steelers, but so many people I know are Packers die-hards, I'll probably go for the cheese.

Enjoy your super bowl party! Go Packers! Did you happen to see the cute video on Mrs. 4444 blog of the kids "Ode to the Packers"? I think it's right before the FF post.

Stopping by from FF.

it is amazing how chaotic life can be when you are managing a household!!! a vacation sounds great, maybe i should start asking for one.

i do hope your monday goes your way and quickly!

i am going to have to root packers because the steelers are rivals of my eagles... so that is where i land on that ;-) i hope life eases up on you a bit!

I can't muster up any kind of interest in the Super Bowl this year. I felt the same way about the World Series. Is that apathy? :)

Good thoughts and prayers in connection to the egg donor.

We're spending the game at a church party, too. I love how excited my kids are :)

Go Pack, Go!!!!!! WEEHOOOOO!!!!!!

No matter who the Steelers were playing against I would be rooting for the other team. Ben is a pig and an assaulter. And the Steelers have been to the Superbowl so many times in recent years it would be nice to have another team win.

Plus, I bleed Green and Gold, baby!!!!!

Tammie- It is hard to explain the whole Packers fan thing. A lot of what looks like superiority is just an immense amount of pride. There is so much history. And we are the ONLY team in the NFL that is owned by the FANS and not some millionaire. That makes it special to us. We don't have all that much in Wisconsin, let us have our love of our Packers. ;)

My dad is a die hard Steelers fan and his wife is a die hard Green Bay fan.... so we're going to spend it with them!

I hope everything works out w/Andrew and the egg donor :( Try not to stress too much... I know it's easier said than done.

and have a FANTABULOUS WEEKEND!!!!!

Superbowl is all about the food! Lucky for me, my family loves football... so I can always count on a rockin' party!

For the Superbowl I'll be heading to a friend's house, the same as I've done for the last 11 years. I think we have a split crew as to who is rooting for who (whom?). It doesn't matter, we'll have fun anyway. Hope you do too!

You did make a great purchase with that tea set. Our kids will be here for Super Bowl and a friend of my husbands from work. We will have lots of snacks and of course our deep dish pizza. Go Packers!
