Things I'm into right now

I borrowed this concept from my friend Tammie, because I thought it was neat-o.
Here are some things I'm into right now:

- Cinnamon Bun coffee from Walgreens. That's right, Walgreens. The newer ones have cappucino machines. O.M.G., that cinnamon bun stuff is addictive. I had my first one on Friday and have been back about 5 times for more. Seriously.

- Thrift store shopping. J and I are becoming quite the bargain hunters. We got some amazing deals this weekend, and found some unique things that we'd have never found anywhere else. Score!

- Coupon clipping. I am the coupon queen! Well, not really, but I'm working on it. I also check sale ads and write a list of what I need from each store. I will shop at several different stores to get everything I need at the best price. J always goes with me, and we make it fun.

- Walking. We walk everywhere that we possibly can. In our new neighborhood, we are walking distance from our library, dentist, post office, bank, grocery store, dollar store, many restaurants & shops, etc. Unless it's dark or freezing, we're walking! It saves money, helps the environment, and we all get exercise. Win/win/win!

- Decorating our new home. Now that I have space to decorate, I'm having a lot of fun with it. And that also ties in with thrift store shopping!

- The Christmas spirit, and this is suprising to me. If I even get into the spirit at all, it's usually not until right before Christmas. I guess it's the overcommercialization, but for many years, I've had a hard time getting into the spirit, even though once Christmas comes, I enjoy it. But I've already done a lot of shopping and even a teeny bit of decorating this year! Crazy!

What things are you into right now?

Coffee at Walgreens? I am IN TROUBLE! I already spend far too much time at Walgreens as it is, what with all my picture developing and whatnot.

I really hope we get this new house because I have some FANTASTIC ideas for decorating it. :)

Haven't heard you talk about your new house lately? Are you all settled in?

That walking thing sounds heavenly!

Right now I am into packing, Christmas music, and inventing things to do with fresh mangos from our trees. I am not into Barney at all.

I haven't seen the coffee thing happening at Walgreen's here yet--but I hope it happens soon!

How great that you're doing so much walking! I really need to do that too--but I've been so lazy...

It's kind of cool to be into Christmas early this year, isn't it? I'm enjoying it!!

Mmmm. Cinnabun coffee? mmmmm....mmmm....mmmmm.

I am a bargain freak thrifty shopper. Trust me. My husband gets sick of me only buying things from a thrift store. He thinks it means we are poor or something. LOL.

I wish I could walk right now but that would mean that my skin will flake off due to cold, cold winters in crappy south dakota. Yes. I am being very pissy about cold winters right now.

Mmmmmm....cinnabun coffee.....mmmmmm.

I'm into not spending money. I have so little coming in right now that the big thing to do is to NOT spend. I budget as best as possible at the grocery store...I bought my own coffee maker...score! Parents reimbursed me cool beans! I buy bagels at the grocery store and coffee grinds and eat lots of pasta and save every dime I can and make it stretch. Since I am a bit of a foodie this is a big deal for me. I love to eat!

Thank God we don't have a Walgreens, because I've gained 5 lbs in a week from Quick Trip banana cappuccinos.

I've been walking more & more.

I'm also in the Christmas spirit. I've been crocheting gifts and singing carols.

I'm getting into the Christmas spirit this year too. I think part of the reason is because my house has been in better shape, and I've been having friends over. I remember now how much I enjoy feeding people I love and making them feel relaxed and comfy.

I'm impressed your walking everywhere. That's awesome! What a good example you're setting for the kids too.

I'm getting into the holidays...finally. I haven't been able to before today, for some reason.

I loved living in a small town because I could walk to the grocery store, schools and pharmacy. Now I can't walk anywhere.

I'm into Christmas music. I love the holidays. I will be decorating this weekend.

I'm also learning a lot about the blogging world and am enjoying it very much.

I am on vacation this week so today I am taking the time to cook my 4 years olds preschool class and turkey for their Thanksgiving potluck. She is so excited that I will be there at lunch time.

I am focusing more on my family and less on how clean my house is (which is huge for me)and of course it's football season so I am enjoying football on Sunday's and sometimes Monday if I get a chance. GO REDSKINS!!

I love me some Walgreens although I try not to go in there often or I walk out broke! But now that you mentioned yummy coffee....
I really like 7-11s french vanilla cappuccino. Heck, for $1 a cup, I can go all week for the price of 1 Starbucks!
