Pause, Reflect, Breathe.

I took this picture outside of our church on Superbowl Sunday. We had been going non-stop all day, and when I went back to the car to get my camera, I noticed the way the light from the beautiful sunset was hitting this tree. It forced me to stop, take a deep breath, and relax a little. I snapped a few pictures of the tree, and went back in to the party with a little reminder to slow down, and enjoy life.

I know exactly what you mean...you're going along minding your own business and WAM you see something beautiful that just stops you in your tracks.
Yeah, a stop and smell the roses moment. Love those.
Your photo of the tree is beautiful!

Gorgeous shot! I love moments like that, that force you to slow down if only for a second.

Nice. I miss my trees. At the moment they are covered in so much snow that many of them are breaking under the pressure. Sorta like me.
