Freaky Friday Fragments!

Well, it's Friday October 30th, the day before Halloween.

Time for some Freeeeeeaky Friday Fragments!

Tonight is Trick or Treat on Main Street in my little town. It's a lot of fun and the kids can't wait! We usually trick or treat on the 31st, but the Florida vs. Georgia game is that night. We love our football in this town, my friends, so there will be NO trick or treating while the Gators are playing!

We decided, in an effort to cut back, to go back to basic mobile phones. Which means, no mobile internet. Which means, very little Twitter. Sad, but true. And necessary. I miss my Twitter friends much! And it's hard to get used to a plain old dumb phone when you've been spoiled by a Smart Phone. *sigh*

Last month I started working Monday - Friday nights, five 8-hour shifts. My boss asked if I could switch to working Sunday - Thursday nights, same shifts. I decided that would actually work out even better, since I wouldn't have to work every Friday night. So I switched this weekend. Last week I worked Monday-Friday, this week I worked Sunday-Thursday. Which means I worked 10 days with only one day off in between. I.am.SO.over.this.place!! I can't wait to go home and curl up in bed.

Speaking of which, I didn't get much sleep yesterday. I had to get up and go to the little kids' school, because Elayna got an Aiming High award! It was for outstanding character.

Attention All Parents! It's very important that you go and read this hilarious valuable information about keeping your kids safe on Halloween, brought to you by World of Weasels. You wouldn't want your kids to get into your candy any trouble or danger. So check it out!

What are your kids going to be for Halloween? How about you, do you dress up? I'm thinking of dressing up this year.

Hope you have a great one!

I am literally cringing at the thought of having to go back to a basic phone from a smart phone. Poor you!!!

My kids are going as a doctor (4yo girl), Star Wars guy (6yo boy) and a penguin (8yo girl). I haven't dressed up in a while, but maybe next year I'll fit into something sexy! ;)

No mobile Internet... that is scary.

Congrats to Elayna on her award. Way to Go!

I keep trying to convince hubby to switch to a smartphone, but no dice...so I'm right there with you! ;)

Too funny since the game is tomorrow that the trick-or-treating is tonight! They don't schedule trick-or-treat based on games, but they do allow each township to schedule their trick-or-treating for different nights of the week leading up to Halloween. Our township does it ON Halloween - but some places had theirs earlier this week. Some kids will roam from township to township so they can trick-or-treat more than once. :)

Working 10 days with only 1 day off would make me tired... :)

WooHoo to Elayna! Way to go! :)

Happy FF! :)

The good news is that with the ending of daylight savings time, you get an extra hour of sleep this weekend, right?

I've never had a fancy phone so I guess I don't know what I'm mising! :)

Congratulations to Elayna!

My little guy is going as a Mailman.

BTW...I got the Nut Clusters package this week! So good and the flashlight and binoculars are a big hit with Spencer...I can't even find the flashlight so I'm sure he's taken it off somewhere! Thanks!

Twas the night before Halloween and my guys still hadn't decided
Will they be bloody hockey players or creepy Mike Myers?
Will I have to go last minute shopping or will Dad's closet do?
All I know is that about this time every year I want to cry Boo hoo!

I never dress up b/c I'm no fun. But the kids are and of course it takes a lot of time to get them ready, which leaves me no time to get into costume. Maybe I'll just carry a broom with me and be a witch.

Hope you all have a fun and safe Halloween!

Only a normal phone graces my hands..I spend too much time on the internet as it is!

We trick or treat on the main street of our town too instead of houses, but ours is tomorrow because we no care about football apparently LOL

WooHoo, Elayna! Way to go!!

I'm still using a plain old Motorola phone; I don't know what I'm missing, but I like it that way.

Just might throw my costume on again for tomorrow, but it won't beat Mr.4444's Elf costume at the door last year. Now that I think of it, I think I'll repost that tomorrow :)

Have a great weekend!

I didn't dress up. We had a bon fire and sat around that, until the rain sent us inside.
Hope you had a great Halloween!
