Believe in Your Dreams

I have this sign hanging up in my bedroom.
I've had many dreams in my life, and I am blessed to say that many of them have come true. But there are a few that I'm still chasing, too. I feel like I will reach these goals and realize these dreams in time. I just have to believe in them, and keep reaching for them.

Do you believe in your dreams?
Are you chasing them?
Or have you given up on your dreams?

Everyone should have dreams and goals to chase after. It makes life worthwhile, doesn't it?
I really feel like my dreams have come true. :)

I thought I had given up on my dream of being a writer until I started blogging -- it really helped to feed that part of my soul and reconnect with something that I've always loved but put away for way too long!

I think if you ever give up chasing a dream, then life will feel quite stale!

This is a problem with The Captain and I. He is a dreamer. I used to be. It comes from my dreams being crushed by others in my life. Sad, but true.
But! I am working on it.

ok, so i'm a dreamer of sorts...but i'm a doer too, so that makes it more difficult. me and hubs are always dreaming up new things...one day! one day!

I've been a dreamer since I was very young...I haven't changed a bit. Keeps me young...in my dreams, that is! :)

It's definitely nice to have dreams and goals to aspire to. There are certainly some things in life where I feel I've achieved my dreams, and others, I'm still reaching for :)

i find this interesting. i feel like i don't have many dreams....i mean other than being happy. i have a friend who always refers to things like, oh it is our dream house OR we really want this vacation...she makes everything out as if there was this perfect idea in her mind and it comes true.
i feel like my dream house is just not reasonable so i don't really talk about a dream house. i mean if we moved up i know i would be happy in the next level up, but as for a dream house it would be a beach house on the water and honestly it would be out of our price range forever.
i think if i had to say what my dreams are for the future, it is simple ...to be able to spend time with my hubby in the golden years, to be able to provide the best for my kids and watch them grow and succeed.....

My dreams wake me up, and leave me shaking, sweating, and unable to get back to sleep. (Technically, I think they're called nightmares.)

1. Riding a mare in the night is not a fun thing.

2. Why would I want to believe in, or chase, my kinds of "dreams"?

If we've lost touch with our dreams, we should start with even the most practical kind ~ like down on the simplest level. For instance I dream of living in a totally organized home.

Then, I'd dream bigger ~ like finishing the book I've started. ;-) But it's hard to concentrate in in my mess!

Lovely post. I'm confused as to what my dreams are at the moment...and unsure about how to fulfill them. I want to chase them...

I wouldn't say that I've given up on my dreams but I have definitely made them more realistic.

I believe if you have children, you dream. Don't we all dream about the things we want for them, hope for them and strive to give to them. When we share a special moment with our children, seeing them become something that we always hoped and dreamed that they would, watching them achieve their dreams, then you realize that the dream you were chasing has come true!

Also, I have that same little saying on a photo album. I loved the little sayings on them.
