Sundays in the Wilderness

I always have to take a photo of the creek.
For as long as I can remember, I have dreamed of living way back in the middle of the woods,
with a creek running through my yard.
That dream has finally come true, and I love it.
I can't get enough of this creek.

P.S. I'm getting a new camera next week!  No more phone pics!  I'm SO excited!

I have lots of wonderful memories of playing in the creek on my Aunts' farms when I was a kid - - - of course, here in Wisconsin we pronounce it crick. As in, go play in the crick.

Congrats on the new camera!

I love living in the wilderness too. Although I'm not real fond of Obama's new gun laws which will make it much more dangerous for me to walk my property. I'm sure the rattlers that try to over-run me will be happy as hell though...

Beautiful shots! Chris got me a new camera for Christmas...I haven't even had the time to figure out how to use it yet!

I know what you mean about the creek. There is something soothing about it. There was a campground we would go to every year. I always made sure we got a site next to the creek. It was soothing to fall asleep and waking up to the running water.

I was waiting in the dr's office for my appointment today and reading your blog on my iPhone. Those pictures were so beautiful and relaxing. Thank you for sharing them.

Very nice. My inlaws live in the woods with creek down behind. It even has a natural little sandy beach area and a big fishing hole. The boys love it!

I would love to go on a photo hike with you one day. You have a beautiful place for walks in the woods.

I love that your dream came true, but what's even better is that you are taking the time to enjoy it.
