Royal Fragments

Mommy's Idea

Well well well, the end of another week. I'd like to say 'another fantastic week', but I'd be lying. So let's just say 'week', and leave it at that.

The storms that ravaged Alabama last night are heading South. They are not predicted to be as bad where I am, but we are definitely seeing some effects. Right now it's cloudy, with thunder and lightning, but no rain. And we need rain!
My prayers are with the people affected by those horrific storms last night. What a tragedy.
*Update: I fell asleep while composing this. (What? It's perfect sleeping weather!) Anyway, it finally rained. The storms were loud & made the kids nervous, but we are safe & sound.

Royal Wedding: Are you interested? Me, only mildly. My in-laws will be up watching it though. In fact, they considered a visit back home to England so they could be there for the wedding, but decided against it. (I don't know why. I was only mildly interested in that story, too.)

Tonight I'm going out with some girls from church. Dinner and a movie! I never do stuff like this, and I'm looking forward to it.
Saturday the kids have a soccer game and then we're going to a birthday party. I'm hoping for another fun, relaxing weekend.

Speaking of which, I hope you have a good one too! Check out Half Past Kissin' Time for more Friday Fragments.

I'm gonna DVR all the wedding stuff, just to fast forward & browse through. I need to know what all the hoopla is about. LOL

Hope your weather doesn't get any nastier! I don't care about the wedding at all. Sounds like a fun weekend for you!

Stopping by from FF.

Hope the weather doesn't get nasty where you are. It was pretty horrid here.

I'm watching the wedding but only because nothing else is on TV at this awful time of morning. I'd rather be sleeping ; )

Have a great weeeknd

I can't really get behind all the wedding hoopla. I caught a glimpse of the dress from a quick news clip and that was plenty exposure for me.

I really dig the Friday Fragments...the randomness SO appeals to me :O)

Oh! It's nice to hear that I'm not the only one not interested in the wedding. Maybe I'm jealous that all my friends are getting married and talking about wedding stuff, and I never got to have a "real" wedding...

Have a great weekend!

we used to live in ozark, alabama and i was deathly askeeeered of tornadoes. my ex brother in law scared me shitless to the point of nearly hoppin the bathtub pullin the mattress on me! it took a long time. i am still a lil wee frightened but i'm a bigger girl now... heehhee in more ways than one!

it is so sad for those people who lost everything. bless each of them.

I was very into it. I was up all night. I loved the boys mother and I am happy for William. I think their love will last. I can't wait to get to London in June and buy me some treasures!

I love that you fell asleep during your fragments--That kind of weather IS sleeping weather!

Hope you enjoyed your scheduled but low-key weekend :)
