Robin Eggs - Way Better Than Chicken Eggs.

Mommy's Idea

It's been a busy week here at Dysfunction Junction! Doctor appointments, work, soccer, work, soccer, doctor appointments, did I mention soccer?......TGIF! My tired brain is ready to defrag.

I'm watching Swamp People for the first time tonight. I love this show...I absolutely love Cajun accents, and these people are hilarious. Right now Ma and Pa are cutting a bullet out of their son's arm. How did the bullet get there, you may wonder? Pa was shooting at an alligator and Junior got in the way!

We took Andrew to the pediatrician today and she asked him what he did over Spring Break. He said, "I went to the beach, and I went to Orlando, and I visited my Grandson..." He meant cousin! I have no idea how he got that mixed up, but we were all nearly rolling on the floor laughing - even the doctor!

Speaking of grandparenting - I'm not ready for grandkids, not for at least 10 years! But we haven't had a baby in our family in a long time. So I informed my niece, who is getting married in June, that I want her to go ahead and have a baby ASAP. Because that's totally my decision, right?

My Easter time obsession:

A lot of you commented on the Taylor Swift video I shared last week & the fact that I called her "T-Swizzle", so I thought I'd share this one this week in case any of you haven't seen it. I love it!! She's so freaking cute.

Have a wonderful weekend, my lovelies! And visit Mrs 4444s for more Friday Fragments.

Lol. Funny you mention Robin Eggs. There's a mini carton next to me right now on the couch! Too funny.

the non-shopper that I am had me thinking of real robins after your title and why would anyone bother with those little eggs. They are a nice color blue. Oh with all the kids being adults now being grandpa is great. I'll even change a dirty diaper if necessary (not that doing that is great but I guess it's helpful).

OOh, now I shall be craving robin eggs. My absolute favorite is the mini cadbury eggs with the hard shells. Yum!

Ahhhh. Robin Eggs rock. I seriously stock pile them this time of year.

And I love Taylor Swift. She is so fun! My brother makes fun of me because he thinks she is only for teenyboppers. Whatever!

Andrew's grandson huh... that is so cute!

Totally your decision for your neice... isn't it??? LOL I kid. People used to do this to me ALL THE TIME before hubby & I got married. It didn't bother me because I wanted them too but him on the otherhand hated hearing it.

LOOOVE that video of Taylor Swift. I've seen it one other time before. She is so sweet, I love to see a kid that can have such fun & not take herself so seriously especially since she has had to grow up so quickly.

That was funny about his grandson.
We haven't had a baby around in years. Wish my almost 30 years old daughter & 32 year old son were ready already!!! I'm into chocolate covered Peeps.

I have already devoured 2 bags of jelly beans. I really want the robin eggs now! In my family we have had a baby 2x a year for 12 years. (my brother died 12 years ago). 10 of them were grankids for me. I'm exhausted!
The grandson comment is adorable:)

I know! My baby is only a year and a half and I'm already missing wee babies. I don't know how I'm going to make it all the way to being a grandparent without any babies around. :(

My hubby LOVES watching Swamp People but I just can't get into it. I can't understand ANY of what they are saying! ;)

"Robin" is a curse word in our house these days--We have a crazy one (same as last year this time, we suspect) that spends all day flying into our bedroom window. Makes for impossible napping, sadly...
