Fragging on Friday - No Foolin'! {no seriously. don't try that crap on me.}

Mommy's Idea

** I'm so glad it's Friday! And I'm also glad that April Fool's Day is OVER...
I'm just not a fan of pranks.

** My counter up there ^^^ is counting the days until Spring Break officially starts. But MY vacation actually starts when I get off work this morning at 7am! I'm off for nine days. And I can not wait!

** I had about 10 years taken off of my life today. My youngest daughter nearly got hit by a car. We were in the Publix parking lot and she ran ahead of me, and a lady in an SUV was backing out. Elayna is short, she's 9, the lady didn't see her. I yelled, but Elayna KEPT GOING! And the lady was still backing out. I screamed that horrific, terrified-mother scream. {My throat hurt for hours afterward!} Elayna ran back to me and the lady stopped, all at the same time. I didn't know if I should hug her or shake her! I have told the littles countless times to stay with me in the parking lots because they are too short for cars to see them in their rearview mirrors! WHY don't they listen to me???

** My Yoplait Greek/Spa Pack giveaway ends Sunday. There are only a few entries, so your chances of winning are great! Put your name in here.

** Do you have any fun Easter plans? On Sunday, we are going to church and we'll have an Easter Egg Hunt there. Then we're going to my parents' house for Easter lunch and maybe some egg coloring & hiding. We may find some fun Easter activity on Saturday too, but Elayna has a softball game in the early afternoon so it depends on timing.

** Speaking of Elayna & softball....her team's sponsor is Misfit Motorsports, so they are called the Misfits! I think it's totally cute and fun to yell Go Misfits!!! LOL

** April is Cesarean Awareness Month. If you've had one, or want to know what it's all about, click the button below! I had three c-sections, so this is a topic of interest for me.

Cesarean Awareness Month - April

** I'll leave you with my very favorite Easter graphic.

Hope y'all have a Wonderful Weekend!

Okay, I laughed out loud three times reading your post. Love the name misfits - sounds like a great blog title!!! The bunny cartoon was funny too.

About the car almost hitting your daughter - that's terrible and has also happened to my son. Sorry about the pic I posted - hope I didn't stir up that bad memory!!

Out of 6 kids I've had one c-section, not a bad experience just different. Glad your daughter is ok, not sure why they don't listen to good advise, still trying to figure that one out.

ugh! so scary with what happened to Elayna. I think out kids do that on purpose sometimes. Last night the girls were standing in the parking lot at the soccer fields waiting for a lady to pass. she was stopped because THEY were waiting in the middle of the driveway!

Happy Easter!!

Wow, that is scary. Parking lots are full of accidents waiting to happen.

Have a great spring break!

Oh my goodness I would have freaked out too! I am so nervous with my girls in parking lots, just so afraid they will get away from me!

As an audiologist, that is my favorite Easter cartoon and I'd been looking for it to use on Easter!

I would have peed in my pants if one of my nieces or nephew ran out in front of a car like that, I bet your heart was racing!

I am SO glad Elayna is ok. That is terrifying! And I absolutely love that bunny cartoon!

I am so glad that Elayna was okay, that is SO SCARY. As someone who is short, I know that I always had to hold hands with someone too, even as I became older! That, and some dumbass people just DON'T pay attention when backing out.

That cartoon is HILARIOUS.

Enjoy your vacation, love, and I'm going to go check out the yogurt thing now since I just got back into eating it!

Kids have no idea what they put their parents through. Have a wonderful 9 days off, no that you've got your heart beating again :)

I love that Easter graphic - thanks!

They always keep us on our toes, don't they? I'm so paranoid about my children running away from me, while in public. They just wiggle away so easily. I'm very happy that Elayna is okay:)

Hugs and Mocha,

Just realized that I said I was taking today off of the computer. I guess this means I'm addicted. Yikes.

So glad your daughter didn't get hurt, and imagine that poor woman's reaction, had she hit her! Whew!

Brunch with grandma, supper with the rest of the fam :) Happy Easter!!

I entered your giveaway. Thanks for pointing it out~ Off to check out the Cesarean link.

That nightmare in Publix's parking lot is what every mother fears...I am so glad Elayna is fine!

Wishing you and your family a happy Easter.

That is every mother's nightmare. That happened to my son probably 10 years ago and I can still remember it as clear as day. Thank heavens for good brakes - I was sure he was going to be killed right in front of my eyes.
