If I'm not back in a week....just wait longer!

Lots of bits of stuff & fluff floating around in the old head today,
so I'm just going to spill them!

Mommy's Idea

~ My son got the job he interviewed for last week! He will be a pharmacy tech at a local pharmacy. PROUD mama right here!!

~ I started a review blog and will be moving many of my giveaways & reviews over there. I would LOVE for you to "follow" me on the new blog! DysFUNctional Mom Reviews

~ My newest client, the sassy Ms J, passed away very early on Tuesday morning. I wish I'd had more time to get to know her, and I will miss her spunky personality (last Friday, she tried to shut me in the bathroom so she could escape!). This woman was a drummer (her nickname was "Sticks"), a weaver, she did needlepoint, beadwork, and who knows what else; I learned all that in a little over a week.

~ We finally have water again! What a relief. I was afraid it was going to be a huge, major project.

~ I'm going away next week! I'll have my laptop but I doubt I'll be around much. I will have some guest posters though, so check in!

~ I wanted this song to be my theme for my getaway next week, but hubby really thinks I should wear a shirt. *shrug* He's such a rule follower!

Have a great weekend!!
Don't 4get to visit Mrs 4444 for more Friday Fragments.

There was a time when I went shirtless during most of the summer. No one would care to see that sight now. Shoeless - no I have tender feet. I can't sing either so the only thing I could do in that clip would be the drinking part (oh and wear a hat).

im really sorry that your spunky client passed away. she sounds like such a great old gal. the world needs more older folks like her.

and congrats to your boy! finding a job sucks and is hard. the fact that he found a good one so soon is a testament not only to the kind of person he is but also your parenting. you should be very very proud.

Are you coming over to my side of the state for your vacation? If so. let me know and I'll run down and meet you for a lunch or walk or something.

I don't think I could do what you do and know that my clients might not live that long. I'm glad you got a chance to know a bit about her.

What a busy week you have had. I hopped over to the new blog and followed and will hop back over for review (directions.)
I lost one of my newest clients this week also :( and then my grandmother. It just doesn't seem right to say "but they were old."
Have a fabulous vacation and a great weekend!
