Straaaange Things Are Happenin' to Me....

A bizarre and unsettling phenomenon has been occurring at my house lately.
There have been some very strange goings-on.
Allow me to explain.

1. We have put bags of chips in the cabinets, and the next day...
they were still there.

2. We've emptied hampers and trash cans, and days later....
they were still empty.

3. Lights were turned off....
and they stayed off.

4. Radios did not play at all hours of the night.

5. Dishes stayed clean.

6. Toothpaste blobs did not linger in sinks.

7. The hardwood floors did not have any small wet footprints on them. None.

What caused this twilight-zone-like activity to occur?

The absence of the small, unruly munchkins who usually occupy my home.

And I am just crazy enough that I miss them!
{Never fear, soon they'll back to wreak the usual havoc.}

I would need my kids AND husband to be away for that to happen!
Enjoy.

As I started reading my first thought was the little munchkins were absent. I can send Princess Nagger over there to mess things up for you in no time! You know, to help out with the missing the little ones part. ;)

Have I told you that I LOVE your new blog look?

I was wondering if your children when on vacation............:)

I don't know what I'd do with all of mine gone....probably make messes just to have something to do. :)

Awww... missing the pitter-patter of (not so) little feet. It won't be long 'til they're home, enjoy the quiet while you can. Then enjoy those unruly munchkins.

HAHA! Cute post!

My house is back to being crazy with Meg home for the summer. She leaves cups laying around, her purse thrown on the counter in the kitchen & she drinks all my coffee. BUT...I am enjoying it!

Since I don't have kids I didn't immediately think of them - I thought it was that your husband was gone - because I do have one of those LOL

Hahaha! It's good to miss them. Chaos will soon reign again.

haha - I love it! Isn't it amazing how odd life seems when the kiddos are gone and how we notice the little things that might drive us crazy...also make us miss them!?

Hope you're having a great week!

I knew it! Those little munchkins were gone and you have a nice clean house but you just WAIT! Enjoy the time with your husband and of course yourself. A nice bubble bath sounds nice with a nice reading book (Hint) :)

I knew there had to be a catch. :P

Oh how I wish our dishes would stay clean. We don't have a dishwasher, and try as I may, I cannot get everything washed...EVER.

We always feel we need a break, then when the kids are away, we miss them dearly! Enjoy your break!

That's funny!
It's nice to have a break occasionally. But what's life without chaos?
