Random Acts of Kindness

It's time again for Random Acts of Kindness!
This is just a little something I do....
My mother renews my subscription to Reader's Digest every year for Christmas. Also, she gets Guideposts magazine herself, and passes them along to me after she reads them.
So, after I read the magazines, I bring them to work and put them in the Family Waiting Room here at the ICU.
It's a very small way to hopefully distract them from whatever is going on with their loved one, and maybe even give them a little hope or inspiration.

So tell me - what's going on with you? What's your latest Random Act of Kindness?

I gave $10 to a man on the street corner.....you can tell he needed it although he wasn't begging for it. He was very appreciative!

That's awesome that you do that. I am sure people love to keep themselves busy with fun things to read.

our horse riding club visited two senior living facilities and sang christmas carols and handed out christmas cards. it was a lot of fun and the seniors seemed to love it!

That's so thoughtful of you! My random act of kindness today was not hitting my hubby upside the head with a frying pan when he insulted my cooking...again.

Nice. I haven't been randomly kind. Thank you for the reminder. I need to step it up a notch.
