Goals: Achieved

{Me, circa First Grade.}

So maybe I didn't become an actress, or an artist, or a teacher, or a model.

But as I was looking through some old boxes last week and came across my old School Days book, I realized that I have definitely achieved some goals that were obviously important to me from a very young age.

I have a house FULL of children and various rescued animals.
I have arrived!

I love the photo - you are soooo cute and actually still look pretty much the same (and just as cute!). I think it's fantastic that you knew from such a young age that you loved animals and wanted to look after them :)

I love it!! I am thinking my goals were similar at your age.... and the animal goal has almost been met... I am pretty sure a puppy breeding was on that list... but I am not sure I will ever go there!! ha ha!

Look at you!! So adorable! And even though I am so jealous, I am glad you have Meep! Among the rest of your clan!

Funny!! Congrats on your goal. So funny ... we must be twins separated at birth. I totally marked singer, actress and artist on mine too. Ironically enough, I am an art director but was WAY off on the singer selection. My daughter informed me that she wants to be a "tv fixer" the other day ... let's hope that is a goal she doesn't achieve! (not that there is anything wrong with tv repairmen!)

"Owner of lots of animals". Looks like you had the ability to see into the future! :)

Yes you have. How interesting that you had that on your paper.

That is so awesome! How neat that you still have those books.

Isn't it amazing that 1) we change so much over the years but 2) also stay the same in a lot of ways.

I love seeing my old school work. It is so funny how our ideas of what we want change over time!

I always wanted to be a vet...some days I am sorry I didn't go to school and follow thru with that plan. BUT, I am a mom and I love being one and that is important to me!
