Thank You Very Much!

I'm in a bit of a mood with my little family right now, so it seems like the perfect time to tell them all....Thank You Very Much!

Thank You Very Much, Teenage Daughter, for literally sitting on the couch with your feet propped up while I mopped the entire house, then complaining because I put too much bleach in the mop water. You're lucky you weren't wearing that mop water after that!

Thank You Very Much, family, for letting me take care of all of the animals. I love seeing that they've had no food or water all day, nor have they been let outside. Because that is awesome!

Thank You Very Much, family, for forgetting how to use the dishwasher, washing machine, broom, mop, etc. Apparently I'm the only one who remembers how to operate them! Sweet!

Thank You Very Much, Sofia the boxer, for eating my coconut birthday cake. I didn't need any more anyway (but I did want more!). At least you didn't have explosive diarrhea this time!

Thank You Very Much, 8th Grade Social, for turning yourself into a mini-Prom and draining my bank account. Ouch! I can't wait until you're DONE!

And lastly, a sincere Thank You Very Much for all of your birthday wishes - I truly appreciate them!

Ah - cool post. Bad bad family. And belated Happy Birthday to you. I have been a crappy blogging buddy for a while - way too busy.

Stopping by from Kmama's to show you some bloggy love! What is it with our teenagers and family whom we KNOW we've taught better than that yet they conveniently "forget" how to do things - ARGH! Happy belated birthday to you. I just found your blog and have become a new follower. I hope you'll stop by and say hello sometime. Have a great day! :o)

Oh, I tell you what! Man! People!

In response to my obscure post, you probably had to read http://friendlyblackandwhitedog.blogspot.com/2010/02/forgiveness.html

Our crossing supervisor has been serially unkind. I've seen her be serially unkind for the few months we've been going to that school, apparently she has been supervising the crossing and been serially unkind at that crossing for 25 years. Anyway. Complaint to school, thumbs down, and the toilet was a commentary on my hopes for her career.

((Cyndy)) Hope everybody helps out next time. Ouch on the 8th grade dance turning into a prom. I just can't imagine. I'm sure I'll find out in a couple of years though.

Is it wrong that I chuckled at the "8th Grade Social" thank you ? I mean, I'm not laughing because your pocketbook is being drained... honest.

Great list. I must remember to say thank you more often.

And I'll start now - thank you for putting my new Crumbs button on your site! You're the first one to use it! You rock. :)

Great post! I really like your blog! I tend to say Thank You a lot throughout the day but I'm usually yelling it in a very sarcastic tone :) Happy belated birthday too!

Excellent post! Although, now I am wondering if my family thanks me in this manner. Hmm. I better pick up my britches and get busy!

Somehow I missed it was your birthday... I went back and looked on twitter... sorry I missed. I should be able to remember next year - it's my sister's wedding anniversary too.

I am with you on the sarcastic Thank Yous... my family left me pissy this week too. (graceslick91)
