Random Tuesday Thoughts 04.14.09

Yep, yep, yep, another Tuesday has rolled around again, and my thoughts are random.
~ My daughter, Shelbie, who is 13, was guessed to be 15 yesterday. Noooo!! That scares the crap out of me!
~ Since the kids weren't with us for Easter, we're going to do a little late celebrating. The Easter bunny left them a little something, and I'm thinking of doing an egg hunt this weekend, because Andrew didn't even get to hunt eggs! But we're definitely going to be exploding peeps in the microwave tonight. Oh, yeah!
~ I'm wearing purple at work today for Maddie. Please remember her family in your thoughts today, the day of her funeral. Also, this family is in need of your good thoughts/prayers right now.
Count your blessings, my friends! Hope you have a terrific Tuesday.

If my daughter were 13 and thought to be 15 that would scare the crap out of me, too...

Exploding peeps? I am SO going to have to try that!! Probably should not show the Princess Nagger that, though, because she'd do it on the sly... ;)

Happy RTT! :)

13 going on 15, huh? Oh, trust me...gets better from year to year! :)

I have never heard of exploding Peeps in the microwave! Doesn't that make a humongous mess? Does sound like fun, though!

I will definitely lift Maddie's family and the other family up in my prayers...I'm off to read about them now!

So I need to know ... if you explode Peeps in the microwave, is it really hard to clean? Because that will determine if I do this or not.

I've heard that peeps in the microwave are good. They'd probably be good in smores too.

Exploding peeps ??

Hmmm ... maybe I should give in and go and buy some peeps. That sounds like fun !!

I was just reading on another blogger's blog, that she and her daughter were wearing purple in honour of Maddie. I think that is a lovely idea...so I'm off to find something purple that still fits me..

How come I have lived 43 years and NEVER ever exploded Peeps in the micro?! I must try.

My daughter and I are both wearing purple today for Maddie. It's heartbreaking.

I'm wearing purple today, too (and I almost never wear purple), for Maddie. It breaks my heart.

Yikes! Those crazy Peeps!
and that would scare me too, I want my kids to look little!

Hmmm. Wonder if that works on stale Peeps? We gobbled up most of them (self included), but there were a few left over. Sounds messy, but then again, it's a good excuse to clean the microwave. Too bad I can't see the video, I'm at work and streaming videos are disabled.

I think exploding things in the microwave should be a regular feature of ALL holidays.

Exploding Peeps you say? We might have to start a tradition around here.

I just happened to be wearing purple tonight and then saw the blog. So, in honor of Maddie, I'm wearing it tomorrow too. My prayers are going out to the family also.
